House For An Art Lover Summer Wedding

Weddings at House For An Art Lover are an absolute treat.

Sitting quietly in the middle of Bellahouston Park, it’s a proper gem in the south of Glasgow. And it’s a 10 minute drive from my house, which is nice 😄

Jodi & Kyle crossed the Atlantic for a home town wedding (for Jodi anyway) in Glasgow. It was the most gorgeous of Summer days. And I forgot my sunscreen, which for a ginger at hear factor 50 lover was a bit of a disaster, but some very kind guests helped me out with their kiddy sun cream. My neck thanks you!

The architecture is, as you’d expect elegant and beautiful. So many Mack touches around the building which is fun to try and incorporate into the wedding photographs. I really like the one at the top, using the doorway in the midst of his classic square frames to make another frame. This was right as they were waiting to be announced in for their meal and had very minimal input. I asked them to go stand outside in the middle of the doorway and they did all the work from there. Such a sweet and super chill couple.
